Overview
This CR80 / ISO 7810 ID-1 card is manufactured from high quality PLA and measures 85.60 × 53.98 mm with a thickness of 0.76 mm. It is supplied in a multicolour finish which may vary slightly between cards, giving each item a unique appearance. The card has rounded corners for comfortable handling and fits into any standard CR80 slot or holder.
Intended use
This specific PLA version is ideal for indoor applications where heat exposure is minimal. It is suitable for hotel energy saver slots, access control mockups, template work, signage prototypes, craft projects, laboratory tools and educational demonstrations. The lightweight nature of PLA makes it convenient for portable uses such as sample kits, training sets or creative displays.
Important notice
This PLA card is not recommended for direct to card printing such as dye sublimation or thermal transfer. PLA softens at lower temperatures compared to ABS or PVC which can cause deformation in printer mechanisms. If you require cards that can be used safely in ID card printers we offer the same CR80 / ISO 7810 format in ABS, ASA and other suitable materials which are heat resistant and compatible with printing systems.
